Nihal Kulkarni
Founder
Nihal has industry experience in finance, investments, capital allocation, operations, and strategy. He is an A.B. in Economics from Brown University, USA. Nihal began his career in senior management as Vice President at Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited from early 2005 until October 2010, followed by his first stint as Managing Director of Kirloskar Industries Limited (KIL) in October 2010. He took over as the Managing Director of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL) in January 2012.
At KOEL, Nihal’s focus was transforming the business from a family-run organization to a professionally managed company. He was instrumental in hiring professionals in top management positions, setting strategy, managing operations, and capital allocation. In 2014, Nihal was selected by The Economic Times as one of the top 40 CEOs in India under 40.
Rajesh P
Co-Founder and Managing Director
A seasoned entrepreneur with over 18 years of solid experience in business management and consulting, Rajesh is a Chartered Accountant with profound expertise in driving customer acquisitions, engagements, operations, and key strategies across B2B and B2C environments.
As a Managing Director, he oversees key strategic initiatives at Tor.ai and the company’s marketing, sales, and operations.
Outside of Tor.ai, Rajesh enjoys listening to music in any form and playing tabla. A fitness buff, he loves working out and plays Taekwondo.
Vikas Mahajan
Co-Founder and CEO
Vikas Mahajan is a seasoned entrepreneur and the CEO of ACTIN, with over 22 years of extensive experience in business management. His career includes significant tenures at CMS, Prabodhan Infosystems, Jopasana Software, KPIT Cummins, and other mid-to-large size IT services companies, where he built his expertise in systems, security, and SDLC administration.
As the head of the Services Business at Kloudq Technologies, he played a pivotal role in transitioning the vertical into what is now ACTIN. In his role as CEO, he oversees the company’s key strategic initiatives, managing its technology, sales, and operations. His profound knowledge spans Cloud, Security, IT Service Management (ITSM), AIOPS, and Observability, and he is skilled at building and mentoring tech services teams.
His passion for technology-led innovation is backed by his work as a research assistant on national-level projects in IoT, Education, and Security.
