About The Client
The client is the leading manufacturer of diesel engines and generator sets for all residential and commercial usage. We have pioneered agricultural solutions. They are the largest producer of non-automotive diesel-powered engines in India.
The Challenge
- Currently the client was using the Inspection Report Generation through CAD Automation. The generated Excel output was used for filling in the Inspection details.
- Then this sheet was used further for creating analytical datasheets.
- They aim to digitize this.
- They decided to use the portable mobile devices for capturing the data into the application. All the Inspection Values and respective results need to be captured and stored in Windchill for the further study.
What did ACTIN do?
To facilitate the digitization of manufacturing, we have provided a paperless inspection solution to the Quality assurance team.
Currently the client is taking the printout of the Excel sheet and writing the values manually into the excel sheets.
- Web Based Utility
- Utility can be accessed using any Mobile Devices like Tab (Through URL)
- Users will search the required Inspection Report from Local system.
- Available Inspection Sheet will be populated in the form of Graphical User Interface
- User will key In the Inspected Values in the Custom GUI
- Once all Values are keyed in, the user will save it.
- Utility will automatically upload the Data to the Windchill in specific Library.
